In November 2016, CC4CA submitted comments to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, urging that state funds from the court settlement of Volkswagen and Audi cheating on vehicle emission standards be used for the installation of electric vehicle charging stations and for the replacement of older fossil‐fueled school, shuttle, and transit buses with electric buses.
In November 2016, CC4CA adopted its initial set of policy priorities, to guide the coalition’s advocacy on state policy for the remainder of 2016 and into 2017.
