Guest Editorial: “Kudos and encouragement for the state in addressing climate change”

Colorado Politics today published a guest editorial by CC4CA President Anita Seitz (who is also Westminster’s Mayor Pro Tem) and CC4CA Steering Committee Chair Greg Clifton (who is also Vail’s town manager) thanking legislators and the governor for working hard to pass important legislation to reduce carbon pollution.

“The Colorado legislature is currently considering a wide range of bills that would make an enormous difference to local communities across the state … Collectively, these bills will help position Colorado to remain economically competitive in the years ahead while simultaneously strengthening our local communities and preserving our quality of life in both rural Colorado and on the Front Range.”

“We appreciate that the legislature and governor are treating these issues as the critical priorities that they are, and encourage them to follow through on the many important pieces of legislation now under consideration.”
